Realistic Western & Wildlife Art
Mr. Hayes is a prolific and incredibly talented artist, specializing in Western, wildlife, and scenic paintings, drawings, and prints. Deer, elk, and horses are frequently the subject of his paintings.
Scenic portrayals are most often of northeastern Oregon, northern Idaho, and western Montana, the mountainous country he knows and studies. Old homesteads, threshing bees, horse logging, and one-room schoolhouses depict the days of yesteryear.
Gene's original works are available for purchase, in addition to note cards and stationery made from prints of his originals. Commissioned work is available on request.
